The North East LHIN has completed its selection process for its ninth and final board director.
Former City Counsellor and Timmins District Hospital Board Member, Gary Scripnick will be assuming his new role at the end of the month.
The network says his time as a board member at the hospital and with our Porcupine Health Unit makes him the perfect candidate for the position.
The announcement also makes Scripnick one of its northern-most members.
The North East LHIN works with many health organizations and provides services throughout northern Ontario.
