Many OFSC trails in the Northeast are now under a limited status.
After a weekend of mild temperatures and sunshine, the OFSC says many trails in low-lying areas are filled with slush and ice conditions have worsened over crossings.
Kapuskasing, Moonbeam and Timmins trails have been affected the most; with Cochrane, for the time being, maintaining an open status.
With more plus-temperatures and two separate freezing rain warnings, trails could deteriorate quickly over the next week.
