March 8th is International Women’s Day, local businesses, Habitat Interlude and residents are coming together for the event.
Jessica Lallier from Kapuskasing’s Namaste Studio will be joining Crystal Brisson making presentations for the event which raises awareness for women’s rights and supports the local women’s shelters.
Lallier says there’s a lot which goes into an event like this.
She says it’s all part of what organizations like Habitat Interlude stand for.

The organization runs women’s shelters, counselling services and crisis support in Kapuskasing, Hearst and Cochrane.
The event will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus Hall at 7:00pm next Tuesday.
