Town council has recommended a petition to the Ministry of Health which could bring more doctors to Kapuskasing and the Northeast.
The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care has the power to bring back incentives for physicians to practice in rural areas, especially in northern Ontario.
The plan comes from Bluewater and is gaining steam as more northern communities are backing up the recommendation.
