The families of three sick young women from Kapuskasing will be benefitting greatly from the support of the community.
On Friday, a packed house hit the stage for karaoke at the Legion.
Carole Cass, the event’s organizer says in total the 160 people in attendance raised nearly $3,000.
The money will be split between Kayla Pelletier who is currently receiving chemo treatments in Ottawa, Melissa Tremblay Labelle who is seeking a bone marrow transplant and Samantha Degrace who is looking for a lung transplant.
