There’s some progress with the Nipigon River Bridge.
The second lane of the bridge is expected to open back up today.
The bridge was completely shut down in January after it separated.
This forced a delay of traffic nation-wide because the bridge is the only link between the east and the west.

Since then, traffic has been moving across one lane of the bridge in alternating time.
An investigation into what caused the split is ongoing.
