Public speaking can be stressful, even for adults.
Students at St. Patrick’s elementary in Kapuskasing confidently delivered speeches before their peers, parents, staff and a panel of judges.
The school’s Principal, Gretchen Morgan says it takes a lot for the students to get up there and speak confidently in front of a crowd.
The first and second place students from each age group will be competing at the Legion with the winners of that bout heading to provincials.
Morgan says this year’s group is exceptional and it isn’t the first time students from St. Pat’s would be competing in provincials.
