International Women’s Day is on the horizon and Habitat Interlude is hosting this year’s event at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kapuskasing.
Habitat Interlude runs women’s shelters, counselling services and crisis support in Kapuskasing, Hearst and Cochrane.
Crystal Brisson is last year’s winner of the event’s ‘What is Your Dream’ contest.
Since last year, Brisson says she’s been working towards her goal of becoming an empowerment coach.

She says working in personal training is just as much about motivating her clients as anything else, which relates well to her empowerment coaching.
The event is set for Tuesday, March 8th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kapuskasing at 7:00pm.
