Remi Ski Club in Moonbeam has taken the initiative in helping the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and two sick, young women from Kapuskasing.
The hill’s manager, Norm Nadeau took to the hill on Sunday racking up 203 runs by snowboard collecting donations for the families of Kayla Pelletier, Samantha Degrace and for the CHEO.
Nadeau says it wouldn’t have been possible without the hill’s volunteers and of course, the community.
He says over $1,000 has been raised so far with more donations still coming in, if you’d like to donate or get involved you can contact or stop in at Remi Ski Hill located in Moonbeam.
