Teams Playing in Honor of Local Teen in Treatment for Leukemia

On Sunday the Kapuskasing Bantam Icehawks and Timmins Falcons will be coming together to help Kaila Pelletier, a 16 year old from Kapuskasing, who has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia.

The Icehawks and Midget Girls will be rocking orange laces and orange tape on their sticks to help raise awareness and support Peltier.

The Sports Palace will be the host of their games on Sunday with the first game scheduled for 12:30pm.

Chuck a puck and a 50/50 draw will be held with proceeds going to Kaila’s family.
