The New Democrats are getting ready to press the province for answers over the Nipigon Bridge failure.
That message is coming from provincial NDP leader Andrea Horwath, who says they are prepared to ask the hard questions when the legislature resumes in a couple of weeks.
She says the brand new bridge failing in such a huge way is not only a debacle, but it’s a symbol of how infrastructure goes in the north.
Horwath says the infrastructure problem is causing people to leave the north, which means we are losing part of our heritage.
