The Return of the Long-Form Census Means Jobs for Northerners

The long-form Census is making its return this year and Statistics Canada is hiring for 140 jobs in the region.

Central Regional Director with Statistics Canada, Gary Dillon says because of the layout of the region there will be many jobs available.

He says crew leaders and enumerators will be needed to complete the Census which begins in May.

Dillon says the Census will be assessing aboriginal communities in the area as well such as Constance Lake and Kashechewan.
