The MPP of Timmins-James Bay, Gilles Bisson says the support for the four-lane expansion of Highway 11 is great, but don’t expect it to come to fruition soon.
Bisson says it’s not all bad; the fact that municipalities are pressuring the province will draw its attention to the north and its needs.
He says the ball is already rolling and the four lane plan is definitely on a long-term timeline.
This comes as the Nipigon Bridge suffered serious damage from its first winter storm, essentially cutting the rest of Canada off by road.
