A Stanley Cup winner will be in Timmins this month giving a speech about overcoming adversity and his life in hockey.
Theo Fleury is an advocate for sexual assault victims, and talks about overcoming his own experiences.
He says his speech, entitled Don’t Quit before the Miracle, is about never giving up.
Fleury says he will also talk about ending mental health stigma in the hockey rink.
The right winger will be in Timmins on the 15th, you can grab tickets for the event from Kapuskasing’s Recreational Director, Marc Clavelle located at the Sports Palace.
