Good news for skiers and snow boarders, Remi Ski Hill says it’s planning to open this weekend.
The hill’s opening has been delayed for well over a month from a lack of snow fall.
The forecast is currently calling for five-to-ten centimetres of snow on Friday and nearly 15 on Sunday.
Norm Nadeau, who runs the hill, says the snow shoeing and cross-country ski trails have been open for about two weeks but it excited to open the actual hill.
The mild temperatures this winter have had a crippling effect n many businesses – such as ski hills – geared towards winter sports in the Northeast.
