Hearst High School is still raising money for its exchange program with a northern Alberta school.
One of the organizers and a teacher at Hearst High School, Andre Dumais says students, faculty and parents hit the streets of Hearst as part of a bottle drive on Saturday night.
He says 7,300 bottles were donated raising roughly $900 for the trip.
Dumais says there’s still a chance to get involved and win some money in the process with a fifty-fifty draw set for January 13th.
The exchange program will see 18 students from both Hearst High and Cabotte’s Lake in northern Alberta participate.
