Festive R.I.D.E. Numbers Show Positive Impact

The James Bay OPP has released its Festive R.I.D.E numbers.

Checkpoints were in place from Hearst to Cochrane beginning on November 23^rd and wrapping up just after New Year’s.

Constable Marc Huot with says there were a total of 170 check points with only two warnings and four charges laid.

Huot says compared to last year’s Festive R.I.D.E. of 98 checkpoints with two warnings and ten charges, it’s a good sign drivers are being more responsible.
