Hydro bills are going up once again as some new changes come into effect for 2016.
The good news is that the debt retirement charge is over, years after it was promised to be done.
That is going to save households around 70-dollars a year.
But Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says there is some bad news.
Bisson says essentially what that means is electricity rates are going up.
He says the Ontario Liberals are purposely making this plan confusing because they know they are jacking up rates.
This plan is especially concerning for northern Ontario where temperatures can hit extreme lows.
