A new law which came into effect on January 1st could save Ontarians on car insurance.
That is provided you have winter tires.
The objective is to help residents save on insurance with a goal set to cut costs for drivers by roughly 15 per cent.
It’s especially useful given the winters northern Ontario faces, most residents will be eligible.
It’s unclear how much the actual break will be and residents can look into it further by contacting their insurance companies.
