The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs is warning sledders to stay off of the trails. Although snow is on the ground, the OFSC says it can very dangerous this time of year with poor conditions.
Ground, waterways, and swamps aren’t frozen yet, and there isn’t enough of a snow base to protect yourself or your sled from rough terrain.
Very few of the OFSC trails have been groomed, and so they are all closed in much of the Northeast.
