It’s day two of the Nalin Mehta Memorial Santa Clause Fund radio-thon with the Moose and the Kinsmen Club of Kapuskasing.
The fund provides food vouchers and toys to families in need over the holidays.
Chair of the fund, Wayne Major says it’s the largest fund raiser the club holds every year.
In addition to the event, feeding the parking meters in Kapuskasing also goes towards feeding the needy.
The town will be donating parking meter fares gathered over the next two weeks to the fund in addition to pledges.
