This year’s Festival of Lights in Kapuskasing has been disrupted by a severe case of vandalism and the OPP says it has made arrests in the cast.
Police say two 12-year-old girls have been charged with mischief under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Last week many archways, displays and lighting fixtures were torn down, stolen or destroyed at Riverside Park.
The Festival of Lights is held every year at Riverside Park and runs right through the holidays.
