The Northeast OPP is going to be hitting the streets of down town Hearst over the holidays.
Police say foot patrols will be stopping in to meet with local businesses and residents to help with some active crime prevention tips.
The OPP says throughout December it will be increasing visibility within the community.
Police say if you have any questions or concerns for local police this is the time to bring them up.
