High food and hydro prices have the MPP of Kenora-Rainy River, Sarah Campbell, speaking out.
MPP of Timmins-James Bay, Gilles Bisson says the province should take a closer look at some unique costs northerners face.
He says thereâs not much the government can do in terms of food prices directly, but it can take a look at the input costs.
He says input costs refer to the prices of electricity and transportation.
Bisson says as an example, there are older residents with no debt but with a fixed income like a pension and have no way to combat rising prices.
