Schools across the Northeast spent the past week talking about bullying, including St. Patrick’s in Kapuskasing.
The students of St. Patrick’s came together to attend some information sessions and learn more about what constitutes bullying.
The schools’ Principal, Gretchen Morgan says it’s not just the school itself getting involved.
Morgan says there are many partnerships with local police, NEOFACS and local businesses which help raise awareness on mental health issues caused by bullying.
This comes as Kim McEntee takes over as the NCDSB’s new Supervisor of Mental Health and Wellness.
