Four-hundred years of service in Francophone communities is being celebrated by the North East LHIN.
Forty one healthcare providers from Hearst to Cochrane have been honoured as part of the celebration.
The LHIN’s Director of Community Engagement, Cynthia Stables says it’s a huge milestone in terms of the standards set for its communication needs.
She says the first healthcare provider to ever receive the designation for working under the French Services Act was Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst.
