Kim McEntee is taking over as the NCDSB’s new Supervisor of Mental Health and Wellness.
The Northeastern Catholic District School Board says her 17 years of experience in the field will be relied upon heavily.
McEntee says a great deal of awareness has been raised pertaining to mental health.
She says addressing mental health issues early on helps greatly in the long run for young students.
McEntee says helping students will be a partnership across the board to improve mental health.
