Faculty Association Criticizing Nipissing University Closure

The Nipissing University Faculty Association feels they should have been consulted before a decision was made to close the school’s Muskoka campus.

Faculty president, Susan Srigley, says the closure will affect significant programming at the university.

She says the decision was made by administrators and accountants, and should have been made by experts in academics instead.

Nipissing announced they were closing their Bracebridge campus back in June.

For any students and families affected in the area, we’ll have more information as announcements are made.
