Northeast OPP: Online Safety a Priority for Children

The Northeast OPP is making sure children are being better protected from internet threats.

Police say internet threats are not something to be taken lightly, they can lead to cyber bullying.

The OPP says parents should always know what their kids are doing online.

Police say parents can monitor the sites young children are visiting, remind them to keep their passwords safe and be sure who their children are interacting with online.

On November 20th at St. Patrick’s School in Kapuskasing, there will be a gathering addressing both physical and online bullying.
