Remembrance Day is just around the corner and events are happening throughout area.
November 6th:
- Aboriginal Veteran’s Day Service begins at 10:15am at the Community Hall in Hearst, beginning with a parade which will make its way to the Mamawmatawa Holistic Education Centre will ceremonies beginning at 10:45am.
November 7th:
- Mattice is hosting a Remembrance Day Service at 10:30am at the Cenotaph near the town hall.
- Val Côté is hosting a ceremony at the Val Côté Cemetary at 12:30pm
November 11th:
- A parade is leaving from the Hearst Legion grounds at 10:15am, making stops at the Arts Council Building.
- In Kapuskasing the Legion is hosting a service at 11:00am, featuring a parade and wreath laying ceremonies
