The Nipissing University Student Union is speaking out after full time faculty decided to take strike action.
The union says there is a climate of uncertainty on campus after classes were cancelled indefinitely.
Many graduating students are concerned extending the academic year could impact employment opportunities.
Others are worried for financial reasons, because most leases are up on April 30th. The union is calling on both sides to return to the bargaining table as quickly as possible.
For any students and families affected in the area, we’ll have more information as announcements are made.
