Local musicians will be hitting the stage on Saturday to help raise funds for food programs in Kapuskasing Schools.
One of the organizers and one of its performers, Jennifer Landriault says St. Patrick’s, Jacques Cartier and Andre Cary are the targets of the funding.
Landriault says a great deal of preparation has gone into the event and hopes it’s the first of many for local artists.
The performances kick off at 8:00pm from the Knights of Columbus Hall on Kolb Avenue.
Nearly a dozen musicians will be taking to the stage including the Riffs and the Smalltown Liberation Project.
Landriault says local businesses around town are selling tickets for the event including Renaissance Hair Design, Namaste Studios and Euphoria Spa.
