The Northern Ontario School of Medicine along with its nine college and university partners have held a conference based around collaborative learning.
The Interprofessional Collaborative in Health Education Conference was hosted by Sault College.
The conference focused on participation of the north’s future doctors in decision making processes and patient care in the Northeast.
Over the two days nearly 30 workshops were held for future and current healthcare professionals.
The NOSM currently has four third-year medical students working in all sectors of the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, as well as two residency positions being filled.
