The province has reached a tentative deal with the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario. Details won’t be released until the agreement is ratified.
The union represents over 70-thousand public elementary teachers across the province, including those in the District School Board Ontario North East.
Ontario also reached a tentative deal with the union representing education support workers yesterday.
No deal has been reached with educational support workers represented by the Ontario secondary school teachers Federation.
Trustees have been authorized to dock pay cheques up to ten percent.
