Hydro One Sell Off Will Continue, Even After FAO Report

The sale of Hydro One has been under much debate in Queen’s Park, the effects of which could be felt sooner than later in the Northeast.

Premier Kathleen Wynne says the sale will move forward.

The province’s Financial Accountability Officer has said it’s a bad deal for Ontarians.

Ontario’s New Democrat leader Andrea Horwath says it could affect the north greatly.

She says Wynne will be out of the country as the deal is pushed through in two weeks and Horwath is concerned by the lack of transparency in the deal.

Local MPP Gilles Bisson, who, along the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities earlier this year, spoke out against the sell off and its affects in the region.
