The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities says it hopes to get access to more infrastructure project with a new federal government.
The President of FONOM, Al Spacek says says the Liberal’s election platform is promising for northern residents.
He says the Liberals commitment to infrastructure could provide new opportunities like the Highway 11 project in Kapuskasing and the Railway Street restoration in Cochrane.
Seven of the nine northern ridings now have Liberal Members of Parliament.
