Seventeen new doctors and specialists are joining the healthcare ranks ov HSN, the North East LHIN and the hospital in Sudbury.
Of the seventeen, are 11 specialists and one emergency room physician.
HSN says five of the doctors are from the Northeast and nine received their undergrad or residency in the region.
HSN, the North East LHIN and the NOSM in Sudbury service many communities across the Northeast.
There are currently two residency positions and four third-year students from NOSM working out of the Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing.
