A Housing Forum is being held by the North East LHIN in Copper Cliff today.
The event will feature panelists and a critical look at some services and resources that are lacking in the Northeast.
The North East LHIN says the event will focus on innovations in housing for mental health in the region and social investment models.
The Northeast Local Health Integration Network says housing is a social determinant of health and it’s part of the network’s new strategic plan to address it.
Aboriginal services and support for social housing will also be looked at in the Northeast.
