Local police have some winter driving tips to help keep drivers safe this season.
Staff Sergeant Baldassare Nuccio from the Kapuskasing and Hearst OPP says it’s important to be cautious around snow removal vehicles.
He says it’s a great idea to can pick up emergency kits from local hardware stores to keep in vehicles.
Nuccio says always check all your fluids, make sure you have winter tires and checking the battery before going out can insure your safety.
