The Railway Street restoration project in Cochrane will be replacing roadside infrastructure which, in some cases, is nearly 100 years old.
In Kapuskasing, the Highway 11 Connecting Link Upgrade project begins today.
Manager of Public Works in Kapuskasing, Eric Cote, says the Highway 11 corridor through Kapuskasing will cause some delays.
He says the side walk at the Kapuskasing Golf Club on the north side of the highway will be closed to pedestrians for about a month.

Public Works is looking for a way around the sidewalk closure, hoping to open it to pedestrians during the construction.
Cochrane council recently saw the plans for more repaving projects in the last town meeting.
