FedNor, Ontario Tourism and five municipalities are teaming up with New Business to develop off-road and snow mobile trails in the region.
Cochrane, Smooth Rock Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst and Dubreuilville are going to develop, refine and market the many trails our region has to offer.
CEO of New Business, Mike Jacobs says all parties involved are investing seriously into the project.
He says it won’t just benefit local enthusiasts but provide an allure for tourism.
He says the effort could attract enthusiasts from all over, which could provide a boost for local businesses and services.
