FedNor’s vital role should be better organized and streamlined according to the NDP’s Carol Hughes.
Hughes says FedNor has helped communities all across the region with infrastructure, cultural and business development.
Hughes is running against Liberal candidate Heather Wilson and the Conservative’s Andre Robichaud.
She says detaching FedNor from Industry Canada would be a step in the right direction.
Hughes says the NDP plans to build a fair FedNor model to make sure communities are getting the money they need for infrastructure projects.
The election is set for October 19th.
