Hughes: Shoring Up Household Budgets Will Help Local Economy

The NDP’s Carol Hughes says the economy is our riding’s greatest challenge on the horizon.

Hughes says the 4,100 jobs lost in north eastern Ontario is the last six months is a primary concern.

She says the job market still hasn’t recouped since the 2008 financial crisis on top of the recent losses.

Hughes is running against the Liberal’s Heather Wilson and the Conservative’s Andre Robichaud.

Hughes says shoring up household budgets will help considerably with the economy and job creation.

The federal election is set for October 19^th.
