The third annual Youth Gathering in Kapuskasing brings in children from Cochrane to Hearst and beyond.
The event’s organizer, Terrance Sutherland says the over 200 kids are in attendance for hands-on activities, workshops and presentations.
The event is in its second day today featuring guest speakers from within the various communities in the area.
Sutherland says the goal is to expose aboriginal and non-aboriginal children to the history and heritage of the communities here.
