The OPP are celebrating four centuries of French presence in the community.
Detachments across the region will pay homage to Franco-Ontarians.
OPP Sergeant Carolle Dionne says there will be special events at police stations from Hearst to Cochrane.
Dionne says those 22 detachments are designated French Language Service Areas.

Stations in the area will be hosting open houses and flag raising ceremonies.
