Farm Field Day kicks off tomorrow in Kapuskasing.
Residents and farming industry professionals are invited to a special farmer’s market in the Circle.
You can hitch a wagon ride to the Ron Morel Memorial Museum until noon from the farmers market.
The museum will feature special exhibits for the weekend.

Julie Latimer, the museum’s curator says Farm Field Day celebrates rich regional heritage.
Latimer says during World War I the farm was serviced by an internment camp for the department of agriculture.
She says the research into sustaining farming in the north benefitted the whole country.
The Demonstration Farm will feature a petting zoo, special exhibits and local food.
