Two projects will see main roads in Kapuskasing and Cochrane getting a serious makeover.
Minister with FedNor Greg Rickford says some of the roadside infrastructure on Railway Street is nearly 100 years old.
FedNor investments of $1.3 million went to Cochrane, Kapuskasing, Moosonee and Timmins for infrastructure in July.
In Kapuskasing the Highway 11 Connecting Link Upgrade project could begin as early as the 28th of September according to the town’s CAO Yves Labelle.
The connecting link has been delayed by weeks and needed time for the town to get the project back within its budget.
