The Polar Bear Habitat in Cochrane will be receiving a new addition.
Two-year-old, 700 pound, Henry the Polar Bear will be joining six-year-old Ganuk or ‘Snowflake’ as the habitat’s new resident.
Henry will be coming to the habitat all the way from Sea World in Australia, will be arriving in October.
As if 700 pounds could be taken lightly, Habitat Manager Karen Cummings says he could weigh as much as 1,000 pounds at adulthood.
