Provincial NDP Leader, Andrea Horwath has been visiting northern communities to talk about the sale of Hydro-One.
Aside from taking in Smooth Truckfest and the La Forge Country Music Fest, she took the time to speak on the sale of Hydro-One.
Horwath says examples of the privatization of electricity systems has always seen rates sky-rocket.
Horwath says that policy makers don’t always realize that small changes can mean reverberating changes in the north.

The Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities just recently announced its stance against the sale of Hydro-One.
Horwath is hoping more communities in the North are as concerned as they are.
