Smooth Truckfest is the largest celebration in the town of Smooth Rock Falls.
One of the festival’s organizers, Andre Bernier says the town brings in traffic from all over Ontario and parts of Quebec.
The festival’s main events; the races will have drivers competing for over $30,000 in awards and will see draws for attendees totalling in $70,000 worth of prizes.
The races will feature everything from regular cars, to diesel pick-ups, to giant transport trucks.
The event, beginning this Friday, August 21st will kick off with a parade and car show followed by Saturday’s main events: the races and performances by Canada’s own Hedley in the evening.
